Getting a detailed quote requires accurate information. That’s why we put together a simple take-off form that you can download here. Using this take-off form will make it easier and faster for you to get a detailed quote.
Our aim is to avoid mistakes by avoiding the re-shuffling of product categories, and using a checklist-style workflow that helps cover all the bases. Drop-down selections help you know what we stock. Now, from estimating through delivery:

… can all work in the same order of information and be on the same page! After you finish a Take-Off Form, add any helpful notes, then send it to us, and we will have what we need to shoot back a quote and schedule a delivery.
How to use the Take-Off Form:
1. Draw your deck (beams, joists and posts). Remember that the more accurate your drawing is, the more accurate your count will be.
2. Count the materials you need based on your drawing.
3. Use the drop down menus of products we sell in this Excel spreadsheet to fill in the products and quantities you need for the following categories:
- Concrete & Sonotubes
- Framing & lumber
- Decking & fascia
- Railing components & ADA
- Hardware
- Lighting
4. Send us a copy via fax or email, or bring a copy with you on your next visit. (Make sure to include contact info if you send it in via fax or email.)
5. Get a detailed quote
This sheet, while extremely helpful, may not have all the items you are looking for listed and item availability may be limited. Make sure to speak with your sales representative about any unique items you may need and double check your quotes for accuracy.
